A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on July 6, 2006 . Thank you!
I recently took in a beautiful white boxer from a lady that has 22 dogs in her home. Needless to say the boxer has seen better days! She is underweight right now, has been spayed and I am waiting for the lady to send her shot record. I can't keep her myself i have two small grandchildren and she is too rough for them. She also has issues when it comes to going into a crate. I am sure she was probably kept inside one for the majority of time while with this person. I want the best for this dog she so deserves it! Please email: Stevens715@aol.com

I'm looking for a home for an 8 month old male boxer puppy. Details: Neutered, fawn/white, playful, smart, crate trained, good health. Current on shots, flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Pretty well behaved in the house. He has not chewed furniture and will not as long as he has his own chew toys to play with. Need to find him a home where he will get love and attention. He gets along great with dogs, but our other dog does not get along with him. He is also a little too rough with cats. Please email in Georgia if you'd like more info: best4she@alltel.net

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on July 4, 2006 . Thank you!
We have a litter of Boxer puppies (full blooded) that have not been to vet and 2 have already died with hookworms. Please contact Jonathan in Asheville, North Carolina at 828-230-6219 or his wife Sherri at 828-551-9220.

Archie is a big sweetheart! He gets along with other dogs (male and female), cats, horses and doesn't even pay too much attention to the resident rabbit. He may chase a cat or other small critter if it runs, but we think that is mostly from curiosity and not out of malice. He is about 5 years old so out of the obnoxious chewing stage, crate trained and will stay in a 4 foot fence. He is underweight right now, but has a healthy appetite so hopefully will be at his ideal weight soon. He was picked up as a stray by animal control. If you are looking for a gentle, lovable inside dog, please check Archie out! He will only be adopted to a home where he can be an indoor dog, but ideally would like to have a fenced in yard to play in with his humans. We are with the rescue group "Pound Puppies N Kittens, Inc." You can reach us in Social Circle, Georgia at 770-787-9551 and ask for Wendi or Dan.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on June 22, 2006 . Thank you!
We have come to the difficult decision to try and find a new home for our boxer. Duke is 6 1/2 years old, neutered, healthy, and shots up to date. He is a typical boxer -- high energy, smart, and mischiveous. We are expecting our third baby in four years and my husband is in the military and has been deployed much of the time. I find it physically difficult to provide for Duke. He needs exercise and training and attention and I just can't give it to him. He is definitely a "man's dog". He has always responded better to men -- not that he doesn't to me, but it just isn't the same. He is a fence jumper. We are in the Atlanta, Georgia area (Fort MacPherson) and would like a home for him as soon as possible. Please call Tracy Gawry at 404-232-9411.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on June 22, 2006 . Thank you!
I live in Douglasville, Georgia and through the county humane association discovered that there is a woman in need of help. Her landlord is threatening to evict her if she doesn't get rid of her Boxer. She has 6 months left on her lease and cannot afford to move until the end of her lease (can't afford to break the lease.) She is looking for dog-friendly housing right now. Her dog, Diamond, is one year, spayed, current on shots, friendly and good with children. This dog is not for adoption. She only needs about 5 - 6 months of foster care until she moves into a new place. Please contact Marsi Thrash at 678-715-9552.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on June 15, 2006 . Thank you!
I picked up 2 female boxers running down the middle of a country road. They are friendly (hopped right in the car!). One collar but no id. Called animal control here, but no one has reported them missing yet. It would be best if they could be adopted together since they are inseparable, although they could possibly be separated if absolutely necessary! Though generally good with other dogs, they might not get along with some dogs. Please call Nancy Rutherford in Charlotte, North Carolina at 704-843-1636.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on June 10, 2006 . Thank you!
There are two, Pure Bred, AKC Registered boxer puppies, 14 months old, needing a new home. The girl is a reverse brindle. The boy is a standard brindle. They have already been spayed and neutered. They are great with kids, but are not good with cats. It would be best if they can be adopted together, however, it might be possible to split them apart. Please call Embry Cox in Clanton, Alabama (located between Montgomery and Birmingham): 205-755-7049

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on June 2, 2006 . Thank you!
This 12 month old, Pure Bred fawn male boxer puppy named Gunner needs a new home. He is being treated with an antibiotic and daily ivermectin to treat a skin infection caused by mites. The medicine should clear up the condition quickly, and he is not contagious. Gunner has been seen by Jeff Gold at Boxertown who had a hard time not adopting this boy himself -- he is sooooo loving! Please call Ruth Thompson in Atlanta, Georgia at 770-256-6001. There is a $150 adoption fee payable to his foster mom to help cover a small portion of the vet bills and medications he is on.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on June 1, 2006 . Thank you!
I have a full blooded boxer puppy, 4 months old, that needs a home. Her name is Shelby and she was born on January 10, 2006. Her tail has clipped but not her ears. She has completed two rounds of puppy shots. She was checked out by the vet and he says she is healthy. She needs a home with a child and I would say that child would need to be at least 6. She is very good with my neighbors children and she loves other dogs also. She is also housebroken. She sleeps all night in a crate next to our bed. I work at home and don't have time to play with her as much as should needs. I am attaching a picture of her. Here is my contact info: Karen Watts in Douglasville, Georgia: 770-489-7220 or 770-377-4636

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on May 16, 2006 . Thank you!
Female Boxer Needs a Good Home -- She is a good dog who is spayed, with clipped ears and a docked tail. Our neighbor moved off to Florida and left her. She has been eating and sleeping at our house. She is shy and takes time to warm up to new people. Another neighbor has threatened to shoot her. We can't keep her because we already have three dogs, including one that is 15 years old. We want to find her a good home. Please call Kathy or Tim in Athens, Georgia at 706-552-3295.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on May 16, 2006 . Thank you!
Please help. We have three boxers that were dumped overnight at our shelter. They have obviously been neglected. We are a non-profit, euthanizing shelter, that cannot provide the care that they need. I would hate to see these two sweet, sweet dogs euthanized. One of the white boxers is a male adult. The other is a female adult. They look like they came from the same litter. There is also a cute fawm boxer boy named Hogan -- he is on the right in the picture. We need them all to be placed as soon as possible. Please visit the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter located at 460 Fair Street in Camden, South Carolina or call Rebecca Sutton at 803-425-6016.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on May 15, 2006 . Thank you!
Chugit is the Pure Bred boxer girl on the left. She is seen in this photo with her half-brother Paco on the right, who also needs a home. Both these sweeties have sweet loving personalities. Paco seems very calm for his breed. Both of these dogs can climb fences, so extra precautions will need to be taken!!! (Note: Please click here for notes about how to contain a boxer that gets out of fences!) Please visit Carroll County Animal Shelter in Carrollton, Georgia or call Mike at 770-834-8150 (then press 0). (From Left to Right, Mention ID #47401A and ID #47400A)

I am writing on behalf of my 19 year old step son who know longer is able to care for his solid white boxer puppy. She is deaf but knows some sign language, like come and stay and sit. She has been trained some on the vibration/shock collar as well. She is only 12 months old, somewhat potty trained. She loves to play and gets along great with other dogs. She loves to chase the laser light. She is small of stature for a boxer only weighing 45 lbs. She is very muscular and absolutely loves to run and exercise. She has one blue eye and one brown. She sleeps well in a doggy bed or better in a human one. She is looking for a loving family maybe with one dog already, that has time to train her better with her hearing disability. Please call Cyndi Chandler in Canton, Georgia at 404-401-4730.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on April 5, 2006 . Thank you!

This beautiful young female, brindle boxer, just 24 months old, needs to be rescued immediately! Animal control has said this boxer has been great with their whole staff since she came in. This boxer is an unusual case, however. She was left alone at home for a few days, and a stranger who did not know the dog went to the house to feed her. The stranger was bit by the dog which is not unusual behavior for a dog to exhibit to someone it doesn't know coming into its own home. Animal control has not seen this dog exhibit any aggresive tendencies at all, she is very, very friendly and loving. Please visit the Fayette County Animal Shelter in Peachtree City, Georgia or call Felicia or Miguel at 770-716-4330.

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on March 20, 2006 . Thank you!
This is boxer mix puppy was born 11/01/05. His name is Gus. He is a very playful puppy, and loves children. He is partially housebroken. He looks a like Boxer with a beard, he is beginning to have some of the wire hair of his mother. The mother is a purebred Irish Terrier. The father is a purebred Boxer. He is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. If interested, email us with your phone number. This is a smart and very cute puppy, these pictures don't do him justice. He would mesh best in a home with another puppy or children. The mother was twenty five pounds and the father was fifty. We recommend his new home have a fenced yard, and that he be allowed to spend time indoors when family is home. Please email Chuck and Sharon: skc@knology.net

A Happy Ending — This boxer was rescued or adopted on March 19, 2006 . Thank you!

Hi--My name is Tanner. I was abandoned but found a loving couple who took me in, fed me and took me to the Vet to be checked over. I had two open wounds on my head and one on my side. I think someone who didn't understand Boxers got very angry at me. I am now a healthy boy at approximately 11 months old, 48 lbs, neutered and am up to date on all shots. I am housebroken and know several commands but need a little more obedience training to be really perfect! I love to be with people and other dogs but not be left alone. My present owners love me but are older and cannot provide the active life I really need. I don't get to run and play as much as I'd like to. If you'd like a fun, loyal companion, have time to spend with me inside and outside and will try not to leave me by myself, then I'll be your best friend and give you lots of sloppy kisses! Please call Andrea Robertson at 706-776-3177 (Cornelia, Georgia) or email: roband42@yahoo.com

I live in Knoxville, Tennessee and need to find a good home for my male brindle boxer. He is 4 years old and needs to find a good home as soon as possible. I had to move in with family and can't keep him. I bought an outdoor pen for him that he keeps getting out of. Please email Marla: mbooz@comcast.net or athomeinknoxville@yahoo.com

This Pure Bred boxer's name is Byker and he is a full bred flashy fawn male (his official name is Echos "Leader of the Pack," Byker. He will be 3 years this August 26th. He has the greatest disposition and is great with other dogs and children (we have a 5 mo. old little girl and he gives her baby kisses). We cannot afford him any more and are moving at the end of March. The main issue is that he has allergies to food and the special food he requires is expensive. He needs a home with a yard and people who have time to take care/play with him. He is house trained, crate trained, and LOVES humans. We need to place him by the end of March. Please call Mandie Cipcic in Charlotte, North Carolina at 704-849-8715.

This very beautiful and young Pure Bred brindle boxer girl has not had a good life so far. You can change that! She is underweight and a bit scared. She might require vet attention because she is so underweight, though boxers usually make a quick recovery even from such conditions if given healthy food and lots of love and attention. Please visit Stephens County Animal Control in Toccoa, Georgia or call MJ Kneiser at 706-716-4129 (cell), 706-779-7202 (home) or 706-886-2191 (days) or call the shelter directly at 706-282-3275. We have two Pure Bred boxers who need new homes. We are relocating and will not be able to take the dogs. Chloe (Female, on left) is a 4 1/2 year old, flashy fawn, full-bred boxer who has been spayed. She has lived with us for 3 1/2 years and is great with kids. Would make the perfect lapdog. Bailey (Male, on right) is a flashy fawn, AKC registered boxer who is neutered. He's almost 5, and we've had him since he was a puppy. Playful, sweet, okay with kids -- better for larger children. Both of them are house-broken, up-to-date on vaccinations, indoor/outdoor dogs. We are located in Birmingham, Alabama and will do whatever we can to find good homes for our friends. It would be best if these boxers could be adopted together. Please call 205-601-3639 or email: nanmerrow@bellsouth.net

The Waycross, Georgia Okefenokee Humane Society (1501 Blackwell Street, Waycross, Georgia 31503, (912) 283-4214) has a beautiful Boxer boy in need. He is approximately 2 years old. His teeth are in good shape as well as the rest of him with the exception of being a little hungry. He appears to have a good temperament and has only had limited disagreement with his shelter pals. He also seems to be somewhat calm for a boxer. If interested, please contact the shelter ASAP as the shelter has limited space.

We recently had a two-month old puppy, possibly a boxer mix, come into our shelter with a severe eye injury. Our vet was able to remove the bad eye and save the scared but affectionate little pup's life. I'm very happy to report that she is doing great and the surgery area is healing up nicely. In addition to her eye surgery, our vet went ahead and spayed her while she was under. We have also given her first set of shots and a good deworming. All that's left for this pup is a nice start to the rest of her life. It's been rough so far but let's try to take care of that and get her some well deserved relaxation time. Please visit Fulton County Animal Control in Atlanta, Georgia or call Jesse Britt at 404-794-0358 or on his cell at 404-291-4096. (Mention ID #365133)

Precious, a pure bred boxer girl, was abandoned in Albemarle, North Carolina. Although very pretty, she is very malnourished. Precious is a brindle color and looks as though she could weigh as much as 50 pounds, when she regains her strength and muscle. She is very friendly. When found, she spent two nights inside, looking for her real owner, so we know that she is house trained. The vet has determined that Precious has an early stage and mild case of heartworms -- we will begin treatment for them, but she will require a monthly Heartgard pill. In her malnourished condition, she will have an uphill battle, regaining her weight, but ridding the system of the heart worms will help her regain her strength. She is available for adoption immediately, but the adopter will be required to continue the Heartgard treatment at a cost of approximately $10.00 per month. Please visit the Montgomery County Humane Society in Troy, North Carolina or call the shelter at 910-428-2961.

Rocky is a 6-month old male boxer mix puppy! What a complete LOVE I am! My total happiness comes about when I am sitting beside you. Although I am curious and enjoy exploring like all dogs, I find more joy in being loved and snuggled than in any amount of exploring! I am a total "mush" and a total ham who loves being spoiled. I'll tell you one thing...I'll bring more to your life than you ever thought possible. Adopt me, take me home, and love me. I'm worth it. Please visit Athens-Clarke County Animal Control in Athens, Georgia to place an application on this dog or call Kathy at 706-613-3540. (Mention Ledger #21329)

I have 2 boxers. One is a 3-year old fawn male and a the other is a 6-month old flashy brindle female and they both are fixed. They are great around kids we also have 2 boys 8/5. My oldest son has allergies really bad, and going to doctors after doctors we come to find out that he is allergic to the boxers and we have to put the health of our kids first. Bella the 6 month old female also has a very mild case of mites, she is on medication for this and frankly I can't afford this treatment any more. I don't want to take them to a shelter but if I don't find a home soon I have no other option. Please send email to Kristie and Tony: Tesoro0427@aol.com

I am director of an Animal Emergency Clinic. We had two boxer puppies come in as strays. We need to get them rescued ASAP otherwise they will go to the shelter. The puppies are approximately 5 months old. There is one male - Petey and one female - Darla. We would prefer they be adopted together as they are siblings and have been together all this time. Please call Rana Taylor in Greenville, South Carolina at 864-234-4701 (office) or email: hospitalmanager@aecgreenville.com
