On November 2, a boxer mix came to my front door in Lithia Springs, Douglas County, Georgia. She was cold and wet and wanted to get out of the rain. She is housebroken, people friendly, and dog friendly though lately there has been tension between her and my standard poodle. They both want to be boss! Sassafras ("Sassy") is a 2 year old female, flashy brindle with natural ears. She has a very petite frame - small for a boxer - she's only 48 pounds. I am looking for a home for one of the coolest dogs ever. I can't take him in for as cool as Stevie is, he is also an "Alpha" male and needs to be the only big male dog in the home. Stevie's recent human has fallen on hard times and will not be in a place that allows dogs. Stevie is a 3 year old, white, pure bred male boxer. He is 84 lbs (he's a big boy). he is house broken and very friendly. He gets along great with babies, kids, and children of all ages. He loves to lay around, wrestle, go for runs and will kiss your face for days if you let him... He is also good looking. I've heard him referred to on more than one occasion as the "Johnny Depp" of dogs. I would prefer to find him a home with a yard. Stevie is fixed. He is happy to lay around with a bone and will be your best buddy. There is one other special note about Stevie... Stevie is deaf.. He was born deaf but he has never been one to complain. Charlie is a 7 month old, fawn, male. He is pure bred, has been neutered, and is housebroken. He loves all people and needs constant companionship. My daughter had this adorable, loving puppy but was unable to keep him when her schedule changed. He was having to stay in his crate all day which is so unfair when he loves to play so much and loves to be around people so much. We took him in until we can find a loving home for him. We have an older Yorkshire Terrier that does not get along well with other dogs (especially one this big). We are having to try to keep them separated which is not an easy task. Charlie suffers from separation anxiety and needs a family that has lots of love and time to devote to him. He is leash trained and can follow commands such as sit, shake, and lie down. ZuZu is a PURE BRED female boxer. She was an owner surrender because she was getting jealous of their baby and was a bit too domineering of their other boxer puppy. She is spayed and about 60 lbs. She is very sweet once she knows you, but is very unsure of herself in our kennel situation. She will be a wonderful girl in the right home and with someone who understands that she might need to go through an adjustment period so she understands she has a new family to love. My name is Michele Kures. I am a Vet Tech at Madison Animal Hospital in Colbert Georgia. We have a boxer here we need to find a home for. "Cassie" has been at the clinic for about 2 months now, we have spayed her on the 8th of October. We have seen no signs of aggression from her with others since we've had her. "Cassie" is purebred, Born on February 7, 2002, fawn with black mask and white markings, spayed, Heartworm negative, and current on all vaccines. She is very sweet, crate/kennel trained. Sugar is exceptionally sweet and loves everybody, although she does have a strong desire to chase anything! :) She loves to play ball, be chased, cuddle, walk and whatever else you'd like to do with her. She needs to get out and run all out at least every couple days if possible so a decent size yard is necessary, preferably fenced. One great thing about this little girl is she will come back when called! Since the day she came to us she has always responded when called as long as she can hear you. As far as we can tell she gets along with all people and dogs, she can play rough though, but don't know how she would do with a cat. She will keep your yard free of squirrels, birds and any other small animal. All she needs is a good home that will show her plenty of attention. She will not do well just to be put outside and left to herself. She is housetrained, basic obedience trained and learns quickly usually whatever you want her to know!
